Redditch Baptists

Though we would consider ourselves to be a traditional Baptist Church in our beliefs, we would seek not to be so traditional in practice. Our sacraments and our aims are those which have existed in the Church of God since its conception, yet we are continually looking for different ways in which we can fulfil our aims in a changing world.
The message never changes - yet the way in which it is communicated does. In a world where people learn in different ways to that of previous years, we need to teach so that the message of Gods Word is truly understood by its hearers.
Though this page does not exist to give a comprehensive guide to our beliefs let me just say this. We believe in the inspiration of the Scriptures, and therefore its teaching that Jesus is the Son of God, and that through Him we can enter into the presence of God. We do not limit the power of God in any way, for if He had any limit to His power He could not be God. For we define Him as the one who has all power & authority.
If you are ever in our area we would be glad to see you. Should you have any prayer requests please turn to our PrayerNet (but state whether you want to keep the request private (in which case only the leaders in the Church will know about it) or whether it can be circulated amongst the wider fellowship. Visit our Members page and say hello to those who have email facilities in the Church.

Finally, this web site is not for the glory of man, or that we might glory in our Church. Rather it is another way we seek to share Gods truth with the world that we exist in, and meet with other Christians around the world.
