TAKE A HIKE
A series of walks for walkers AND non-walkers alike.The idea of 'Take a Hike' is to provide an opportunity for folk who like getting together for a good stroll in the country to do so whilst recognising that friends and family may not always share their love of, or be able to navigate, stiles and fields!
Each walk has been planned to include alternatives for non-walkers. Tea shops, craft centres, National Trust properties, shops and pubs are all on offer for the non-walker.
For the non-circular walks the support of non-walkers to drop off & pick up the strollers will be all the more valued!Some of the shorter walks will still be accessible for those with, for example, children in buggies.
In the month before each walk a fuller description will be available on the Redditch Baptist Church website: http://www.redditchbaptists.org.uk in order to help you decide whether or not to come on the walk, enjoy the alternative attractions on offer or give the whole thing a miss!
Although set up by members of the church, the walks are open for all to join in. We hope that good exercise, conversation and a love of fresh air (not to mention cakes!) will provide plenty of common ground for enjoyable days out together.
